Ingredients:
1 pkg. (6 oz.) Stuffing Mix for Chicken
1 can (21 oz.) apple pie filling
6 boneless pork chops (1-1/2 lb.), 3/4 inch thick
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Prepare stuffing as directed on package.
Spread the pie filling onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
Top with the pork chops and stuffing.
Cover.
Bake for 35 min. or until chops are done (145 F), uncovering for the last 5 min.
Remove baking dish from oven.
Let chops rest a few minutes before serving.
This recipe can be substituted with chicken breasts as well.
Simply prepare 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts.
Increase the baking time as necessary until chicken is done (165 F).
